In 1959, Dulles High School became the first school in the now prominent Fort Bend Independent School District. Most people consider DHS to be the first high school in Fort Bend ISD. Currently, about 2400 students attend the school. Dulles is also the home of the Math and Science Academy, one of many academy opportunities offered by the district. The school is officially named after John Foster Dulles.

Dulles High is located in Sugar Land Texas, a suburb of Houston. Sugar Land is a diverse city with plenty of neighborhoods, rich environments, and prosperous businesses and communities.

Dulles High School sits on a large property owned by Fort Bend ISD and is bordered by neighborhoods. The same campus also includes Dulles Elementary School and Dulles Middle School. The Dulles campus also provides multiple facilities, including, tracks, football stadiums, tennis courts, libraries, an auditorium and more.
